Defeat?

Well, it feels like I'm failing. I finished this major translation today, sent it around 4.20pm. That's always a relief. It's gona, it's away, it's finished. I mean gone, not gona.

Planned on starting on New Important Assignment after my run - I really needed to get out of the house. Last time outside: friday morning, to go and see the new animated movie ROBOTS (which... well, don't wanna spoil it for you). Actually, had some coffee afterwards and a quick visit at Media M., guess I was home around er... 1.30? Ugh, visit to.

Oh, forgetting I got some food shopping done around six that day and around five on saturday. Hm. Forgetting about those two makes it all the more clear they did not make an impression whatsoever. The sun was out today. The weather seemed to breathe SPRING. Which will start tomorrow, yay!! Anyways, I'm boring you, the story kind of proofs my point: I'm not up to working even a tiny bit more. My brains won't cooperate. WHERE WAS I?

Right, went for an 80 minutes non-stop run. Didn't run fast, about 12 or 13 kilometers methinks. Only an average HR of 157, usually I train on 165 - which is based on my training zones. It was lovely weather though, and it felt good. Did loads of laundry. Interesting huh? Boooooooooooooooooooring.

Yeah, well, only wanted to say how awkward I feel for not having started on my second assignment. I made tomorrow's deadline. This one is very important though. If I do this right... It might mean a lot of cool work! Hence the pressure.

Now, well, as you can tell by the way I'm delivering this story (which not even IS a story, merely a few details about me feeling guilty for not having the bollocks to work some more now), I'm tired (saying that makes me feel stupid). I'm gonna get the last load (4th??) of laundry out of the machine, and crawl in my bed - clean linen, and a mattress that I turned earlier today, so it will be nice and like "forest floor"!

ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........

What's going on? This doesn't make any sense! I've seen him friday morning! Why the feeling in my stomach? Strange as it is: I miss Latte Guy.

mood - wondering, longing for a few days of sleeping in. Hmm, perhaps incl cuddles and dvd's ;-). And/or a good book for leisuretime reading

Is she back?

First time back in my own online house, feels kind of weird. It's been a break not only leaving my town to fly to LA, also a break from the world of zeros and ones.

LA including all the other towns and cities we've visited was AMAZING (might have been the company ;-). Naah, kidding, call me stupid, but I had no idea how BEAUTIFUL it is upthere. And the coffee! LOL.

I've really gotta get to bed, long story. Loads to tell about the trip perhaps, some assignments that could mean a lot... I quit my freelance job as a translator after quite a few years, so this will be my last deadline when it comes to translating a book! Unless a "Liz" would slip in, but I hope not, coz I made up my mind and I have to stick to it - it was a good thing to do. And I've still got the parttime job to pay the rent etc.

Anyway, I do have to get to bed and I've been postponing it for too long already (hi, i'm Nation, Procrasti Nation). It's a fun thing btw, a ghost from the past reared its ugly head: Starbucks Man. A few days ago he sent me an e-mail. He's off to France a few months from now, expects to be going thru my city and wondering if we could meet up. On the train on my way back home I imagined these two coffee guys standing next to each other. Both looking at me. I know who I'd pick. In a heartbeat...

mood - pretty good actually, yet v. SLEEPY

not listening to anything as the cd has finished and i planned on lying in bed by now!
